Stars & Stripes Associates LLC was Founded by an Honorably Discharged United States Marine Corps Post-9/11 Service Disabled Veteran. The goal of Stars & Stripes Associates LLC is to provide the best quality and affordable marketing and business development services to all of our clients, in order to help them grow their business(es) and brand(s). Our passion is to ensure that our clients needs always come first.
We are also highly involved with Veteran initiatives, especially those that focus on helping those with disabilities find meaningful employment for them and their spouses. We are avid Volunteers/Supporters of Organizations such as Autism Speaks, Special Olympics and St. Jude's Children's Hospital. We have Associate Initiative Programs that provide incentives to our Associates who volunteer their time to support these organizations and others within their local communities which help enhance the lives and be positive role models of those their missions serve. We believe in ALWAYS paying it forward, and that our Oath to the United States did/does not end when our Uniforms come off. We have a responsibility to always help our communities to always continue to improve. And that is the same mindset that we use towards our clients, businesses and organizations that we Serve.
Our services are not just for big or multi-location and/or franchise businesses, but also extremely valuable and cater to small businesses, ie the "mom and pop" stores, as most of them are not aware or simply are not able to find quality and affordable services in order to help them grow their business.

FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Our Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Eugene Oliva, is a United States Marine Corps Post-9/11 Service Disabled Combat Veteran having Served on Active Duty from April 2000 until August 2008. Upon being Honorably Discharged he took a position as a Contractor for the Department of Defense via the United States Army in South West Asia/Middle East. Combined with Active Duty and as a DoD Contractor, he spend nearly a decade Overseas in the South West Asia/Middle East region, returning Stateside in July 2011.
After the Marine Corps, his professional experience has taken him from being a Business Analyst at the New York Stock Exchange in IT Development & Listings-Market Oversight, running point as the Operations Manager for a Military/Veteran Worldwide Executive Protection/Black Car Service, as well as the Chief Development Officer for a Veteran Owned Cargo/Personnel Transportation Company, until he launched Stars & Stripes Associates LLC. He is also the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Semper Fi Financial Services LLC, a licensed & credentialed financial services independent agent broker agency. He has an Associates Degree in General Studies from American Military University, a Bachelor's of Science in Public Safety & Emergency Management from Grand Canyon University (Honor Graduate: Cum Laude), an MBA in International Business & Human Resources from DeVry University Keller Graduate School of Management, an Executive Entrepreneurship Certification from New York University and attended PreLaw Pipeline to Justice at CUNY School of Law.
Eugene is very hands-on and likes to interact with every Client and our business Associates and Teams, to ensure that everything is always running smoothly, in order to always provide the best services to our Clients. Colonel Donald “Doc” Ballard, Medal of Honor Recipient, is someone who understands sacrifice. He began his career in public service, in 1965, when he enlisted with the U.S. Navy before he was transferred to the U.S. Marine Corps as a Corpsman during the Vietnam War. During his deployment, he was awarded three (3) Purple Heart's and the Medal of Honor for jumping onto a grenade to save the lives of six (6) Marines.
Colonel Ballard returned home only to re-enlist in the U.S. Army National Guard after completing college and began his new career as a Police Officer. After 8 years, he transferred to the Fire Department to continue his service in a new capacity. Don retired from the Fire Department as an EMT Captain and from the Military as a full Colonel, Medical Service Corps after 35 years of public service.
Service was still in his heart though. At the age of 60, Colonel Ballard returned to school to become a Licensed Funeral Director after learning that 99% of Veterans do not qualify for Funeral Benefits, and he wanted to do something to ease the financial burden on the families of his brothers and sisters. Shortly after acquiring his first Funeral Home & Military Cemetery, Colonel Ballard took control of the Triumphant Spirit Foundation and refocused its mission to provide basic funeral services to homeless Veterans and struggling Families of our Fallen. To this day, he remains an Active Member of the Foundation and 30 additional organizations that support Veterans and First Responders.
